With a generous amount of crystal malts and an intense late addition hop schedule, this IPA has plenty of personality. The Wyeast 1217-PC West Coast IPA strain is suitable for various beer styles like American Pale & Brown Ales, American & Double IPA, Red IPA, etc. It has thorough attenuation, temperature tolerance, and good flocculation. The recipe yields 5 gallons with an Original Gravity of 1.071, Final Gravity of 1.018, a Color/SRM of 23.57, an Alcohol by Volume of 6.86%, and an anticipated IBU of 94. It includes Base Malt Grains, Liquid Malt Extract, Specialty Grains in a grain bag, and Hops. Our Partial Mash BIAB kits are different. They offer a 'no-sparge' brewing option for those who don't want to deal with sparging. You're mashing the grains instead of just steeping them.
